Locum Pharmacy Manager (Band 8b) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage our pharmacy team in Milton Keynes. As a Band 8b Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing pharmacy services in line with clinical and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations across the department
  • Oversee and enhance pharmacy services in line with clinical and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, and resource allocation effectively
  • Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters
  • Conduct audits and performance reviews to maintain the highest quality of service
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve patient care and service delivery
Requirements:
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Manager in a hospital setting (Band 8b level preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to manage clinical services and staff development
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, guidelines, and regulations in pharmacy practice
