About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Permanent After School Club Assistant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for children to participate in after-school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead after-school activities, ensuring a diverse range of games and events that cater to the interests of children.
- Develop and implement plans that link activities to key events and celebrations throughout the school year, as well as the curriculum being studied in class.
- Manage registers of children attending the after-school club and communicate with parents and carers regarding bookings.
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks and drinks to children, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Order food and ensure it is stored and prepared according to food safety standards, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements.
- Undertake safeguarding and first aid training to ensure the safety of pupils attending the club.
