Job Title: Counsellor Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified counsellor to lead our team at WhereToTalk. As the Lead Counsellor, you will provide support to your colleagues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake appraisals for your team members, providing feedback and guidance on their development needs.
- To work closely with the Booking Coordinator to ensure accurate scheduling of counselling sessions.
- To contribute to the assessment of the welfare of children, using your leadership experience and knowledge.
Requirements:
We require a professionally trained and qualified counsellor with at least a foundation degree or diploma level and registration with an approved professional body (e.g., BACP). You should also be accredited under the scheme of the British Infertility Counselling Association (or an equivalent body), or show evidence of working towards such accreditation.
Salary: £26,000 per annum (£65,000 full-time equivalent)
