Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers in Reading. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful commercial management of our £25m Office New Build project.

The ideal candidate will have experience in similar roles and a strong desire to progress within the construction industry. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor, preparing and submitting monthly CVRs and detailed progress reports, and contributing to optimising project valuations and cash flow.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, a car allowance of £4,500 plus travel fully covered, and a clear progression path to Quantity Surveyor with ongoing mentorship and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in ensuring the successful commercial management of the project.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting monthly CVRs and detailed progress reports.
  • Contribute to optimising project valuations and cash flow to meet key financial objectives.
  • Work closely with the project team to maintain and fulfil all contractual obligations.
