Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at MCR Property Group in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading independent real estate investment and development company, with a strong UK presence and offices in key cities.

About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts, as well as managing and taking ownership of a portfolio of property accounts. You will also be required to prepare analysis for audit and tax purposes, input financial transactions into our property accounting system, and perform daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance partnering with our Project Managers and Site Management teams
  • Managing and taking full ownership of a portfolio of Property Accounts
  • Preparing analysis as required for audit and tax purposes
  • Input of financial transactions into property accounting system
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations and analysis
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements
  • Full/part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA etc.)
  • Experience of ledger/control account reconciliations
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
