Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to manage our surgical ward and day surgery unit at the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the surgical ward and day surgery unit, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient flow.
Requirements:
- RN1 Adult level registration with the NMC.
- Health-related degree and extensive clinical experience, including evidence of management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
