Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver to join our team in Nottingham. As a Class 2 LGV Driver, you will be responsible for operating a range of vehicles, including skip and roll on roll off trucks, to collect and transport waste materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation of vehicles and equipment
  • Operate vehicles to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Comply with legislation and regulations, including drivers' hours and highway regulations
  • Maintain vehicle security and ensure the safe storage of equipment and plant
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver hours
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Class 2 LGV driving licence
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Professional and organised approach to work
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
