Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic work, repairs, and replacements on light vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience. A strong understanding of vehicle systems, including brakes, steering/suspension, engine, and electrical systems is essential.

Additional responsibilities include working efficiently to meet customer deadlines, maintaining a high level of quality in all work carried out, and adhering to company health and safety policies.

About the Role:

As an Automotive Technician with Halfords, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum, plus an average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year. Requirements:
  • A Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • OR time served experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)
