Agronomist Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team in Canterbury.

Job Overview:

A role in leading edge practice for vegetable seed production, to keep abreast of new chemicals and research, and to conduct trials to aid in the production of successful vegetable seed production.

This position requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and trials to improve vegetable seed production
  • Stay up-to-date with new chemicals and research
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. agriculture, horticulture)
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role
  • New Zealand residency or ability to work in New Zealand

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum
