Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join our team, responsible for inspecting mobile machinery and equipment across various industries. As a key member of our team, you will ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations (LOLER & PUWER) and provide high-quality inspection reports to clients.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting a range of mobile machinery, including Lifts, MEWPs, Cranes, and FLT's, to ensure compliance with current UK regulations
  • Writing and delivering reporting documentation on all inspections undertaken for clients
  • Identifying any change recommendations to clients, as per UK regulations
  • Collaborating with other departments to integrate inspection activities into overall project/site plans
  • Being the point of contact for external clients, offering advice when required

You will work closely with our team to ensure that inspection activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years' direct experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with a Level 3 qualification
  • Alternatively, 3 years' experience with a Level 4 qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' working experience within the UK
  • A clean UK driving license is essential
  • Independent inspection qualifications/tickets are desirable but not mandatory

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £40,092 per annum, plus a car allowance of £4,250 per annum. Additionally, you will receive 25 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays, making a total of 33 days' leave per year.
