Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Lawyer (Regulatory Cases) to join our team at Davies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crime, regulatory, or care home inquest experience and be able to work effectively with our clients to manage risk and operate their core business processes.

The successful applicant will have a keen interest in building client relationships through the delivery of training and mentoring, as well as delivering first-class legal solutions to complex problems. They will also be able to prioritize workload, pay attention to detail, and work with case management systems.

Key responsibilities of this role include reviewing and analyzing prosecution evidence, drafting statements of insured/witnesses, reviewing client's evidence, and liaising with Courts, Coroners' Office, CQC/Police/HSE, or relevant regulators. Additionally, they will be required to instruct experts, summarize expert evidence, serve reports, and attend conferences/meetings.

This is a technical and client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful applicant will be working closely with our clients to provide high-quality services and support.

Salary: £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
