About the Role:

The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders across the globe, managing the cost management infrastructure within the AI Data Service and Operations team and delivering cost insights to leadership to drive cost optimization decisions.

This role may require exposure to harmful content as part of the core role, project, or in response to escalation requests. This can include images, videos, and text related to everyday life, but also bullying, child safety, depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular analysis to support cost management objectives, such as budget analysis, business cost Root Cause Analysis (RCA), cost savings, etc.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deeply understand the business requirements of data labeling projects and have a strong sense of the cost implications.
  • Prepare high-quality cost reports, deliver presentations tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive cost optimization conversations with the operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in driving operations cost efficiency or financial analysis, preferably for large-scale operations.
  • Solid analytical skillset and business acumen, with the ability to connect business landscape to cost changes.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise maturity in handling sensitive data.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
