Job Title: Logistics Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the reverse logistics function, ensuring timely and cost-effective collection and processing of customer-owned stock and spare parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the recovery of customer-owned stock and spare parts, ensuring timely collection from end users or engineers.
  • Handle product returns efficiently, including managing customer returns, processing returned items, and ensuring appropriate disposition.
  • Track and manage inventory levels of field service engineers, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing costs associated with excess inventory.
  • Provide responsive and effective customer service for return-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Analyze return patterns and other relevant data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and customer/stakeholder experience enhancements.
  • Control system receipts for customer-owned stock and spare parts, ensuring system and cost reporting accuracy.
  • Process return requests from engineers, ensuring timely return of customer-owned stock.
  • Update inventory records to reflect returned goods, manage engineer inventory levels of returned or excess products, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Resolve all ITS reverse logistics queries in a timely manner, ensuring an efficient service is delivered.
  • Support the creation of an engaged workforce within the Supply Chain Operations teams through coaching and developing the Management team to promote a positive work culture.

Requirements

  • Experience of end-to-end processes in a supply chain environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make decisions independently.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • PC literate - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collate data and report findings in required format.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
