About Us:

Kathryn Homes is seeking a dedicated Care Activities Facilitator to join our team at Glenabbey Manor. This role involves creating and executing engaging activities tailored to each of our residents, promoting their dignity and self-esteem through meaningful interactions and positive relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and training staff on how to interact and engage with residents, ensuring every day is filled with special moments. They will also be responsible for organizing activities and leading groups, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute engaging activities for residents, promoting their dignity and self-esteem.
  • Mentor and train staff on how to interact and engage with residents.
  • Organize activities and lead groups, utilizing strong communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A positive, forward-thinking attitude with the ability to inspire and lead others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a care home setting or organizing activities/leading groups.
