About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our ultrasound department, you will be responsible for performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynaecological and general ultrasound scans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynaecological and general ultrasound scans
  • Generate accurate and comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Liaise with other departments and professionals within the Trust to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the BMUS recommended Peer audit review process
  • Supervise and mentor ultrasound students and junior staff

Requirements

  • Current registration with a statutory regulator
  • DCR or Degree in Radiography
  • PGD in ultrasound or equivalent
  • Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound experience
