Job Summary:

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Multi-Skilled Fitter to join our team in Heysham, Lancashire. As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of components, mechanical and electrical fitting, and plumbing/pipefitting experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of steel fuel tanks and bowsers to high standards and specifications
  • Installation of components; mechanical and electrical fitting
  • Plumbing/pipefitting experience required
  • Electrical knowledge and experience of single and three-phase ancillary systems
  • Testing and inspection of work to guarantee finished quality

Requirements:
  • Adaptable problem-solver, able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical products, functions, and operations
  • Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, and testing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team to tight deadlines
  • Computer-literate in MS Office, and will need driving licence/own transport
  • Effective communication skills, with awareness of health and safety
