Behavioural Interventionist

We are looking for a Behavioural Interventionist to join our primary school in Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and academic success.
• Provide individualised support to students with behavioural challenges, focusing on emotional regulation and social skills development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to behaviour management.
• Maintain accurate records of student behaviour and progress, facilitating effective communication with parents and teachers.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience working with students who have behavioural challenges.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
