Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Project Coordinator will lead a team focused on improving health outcomes for people with learning disabilities. This involves supporting the Learning from Lives and Deaths national programme, identifying key themes and trends, and developing service improvements.

The role requires project management skills to develop and deliver annual programmes of work aligned with system priorities. The coordinator will also provide leadership and direction to a team of practitioners, ensuring a coordinated approach to service delivery.

Main Duties

The Clinical Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and supporting the delivery of service improvements resulting from key themes from LeDeR
  • Providing leadership and direction to a team of practitioners
  • Developing and delivering an annual programme of work aligned with system priorities
  • Acting as a source of subject matter expertise around reasonable adjustments for learning disability
  • Developing a health promotion programme for people with learning disabilities
  • Working with service users, engagement and self-advocacy groups to champion the voice of people with a learning disability in the development of services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered healthcare professional qualification
  • Experience of working with people with a learning disability

Salary and Benefits

This position comes with an estimated salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
