Care Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Care Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be working with individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities, and other challenges, providing a nurturing environment that enables them to gain further independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to service users with varying needs, including mental health issues, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with an existing team of support workers to promote independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in social care, preferably in mental health, learning difficulties, or autism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including agency temp shifts, which can go up to 40+ hours a week.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for care and a can-do attitude.
