RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager Directives to join our team. As a key member of our Central Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of procurement guidelines and directives for the RWE Group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain RWE procurement directives, handbooks, and guidance documents to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Monitor and assess new developments in legal requirements, business policies, and commercial best practices to ensure appropriate implementation in procurement guidelines and processes.
- Lead selected compliance topics, including sustainability (ESG) and UK Modern Slavery, to ensure alignment with RWE's strategic objectives.
- Design and deliver effective communication and training programs on guideline and compliance-related topics to operational procurement teams.
- Participate in and manage strategic projects for the further development of procurement within the RWE Group.
- Establish and maintain a stable network with key stakeholders, including operational procurement teams, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Sustainability, and other functions within the UK and RWE Group.
- University degree in business, law, procurement, supply chain, or a comparable educational and/or professional background.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing guidelines, directives, and policies, with a strong affinity for compliance and regulatory requirements.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in various compliance topics, including sustainability and UK Modern Slavery.
- Knowledge and experience in strategic and operative procurement processes, with a focus on innovation and digitalization.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with German and other languages beneficial but not required.
