Theatre Practitioner for Scrub, Recovery, or Anaesthetics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Obstetric team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our services, working closely with the Band 7 Senior Sister to maintain and build on clinical, managerial, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic direction of our Obstetric services, working collaboratively with the Band 7 Senior Sister.
- Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the development of our team, mentoring and coaching colleagues to achieve their full potential.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Registered Nurse or ODP with substantial years of post-qualification experience in a theatre practitioner role.
- Experience of obstetric scrub and/or obstetric recovery practice.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
