Are you a seasoned Design Manager or Senior Design Manager looking for a new challenge in the construction industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at Randstad Staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and output specifications.
  • Work closely with the Pre-construction Manager to ensure pricing assumptions align with design development.
  • Monitor design progress, ensuring accuracy and completeness of design variables at each stage.
  • Appoint necessary resources for coordination and ensure effective design management.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Design Leads and ensure design compliance, buildability, and efficiency.
  • Lead the sign-off of documents to the correct status and prepare the Design Management Plan (DMP).
  • Develop and implement the Project's Document Management Procedure in accordance with industry standards.
  • Manage the flow of design information and document control, supporting the procurement and commercial teams.
  • Represent the company at client, user, and local authority meetings, coordinating input from the Technical Department.
  • Manage the Environmental Certification Process, including BREEAM and CFSH.
  • Coordinate the design transfer from pre-construction to construction.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Planning and Architecture BA (Hons).
