Job Introduction
Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Light Commercial Vehicle Sales Consultant to join their successful Derby Van Centre.
The ideal candidate will have a retail sales background with experience of achieving targets, a genuine passion for people, and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take the time to build genuine rapport with customers to identify their needs and turn opportunities into business.
- Meet sales volume targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
- Exceed customer satisfaction and promote long-term profitability for the dealership and group.
- Telephone prospect new and existing customers to secure orders and have full involvement in all processes up to and following delivery.
- Effectively promote and sell additional items such as GAP, paint protection, service plans, and warranties.
- Stay up-to-date with current finance options regulations and legislation to provide customers with all available options.
Requirements
- Experience working in a target-driven retail sales background, ideally within an automotive setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong and effective communication and persuasion skills, alongside telephone prospecting experience.
- Motivation and drive, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- The ability to deliver a first-class customer buying experience and maximise every profit opportunity.
- An enthusiasm and passion for exceeding targets.
- An organised and methodical approach to work.
- Knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
- A full, UK driving licence.
