About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant or Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to children with varying needs, including complex needs, non-verbal communication, and moderate learning difficulties, as well as autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children aged 5-16 years old on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with challenging behaviors
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Computer literacy
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
