We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Northampton. As a Graduate Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment, where you can develop your teaching skills while working towards your QTS.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities.
  • Managing student behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Providing support to students in their Science studies.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to enhance the learning experience.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in managing groups of students and maintaining classroom discipline.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
