Reporting and Demand PMO Lead

We are seeking a skilled Reporting and Demand PMO Lead to join our IT Portfolio and Vendor Management Office at British Airways. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the establishment and embedding of key Portfolio Management capabilities for the IT function.

The Role:

As a Reporting and Demand PMO Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring IT has full visibility of all activities and resources across our portfolio. You will drive the development of our reporting capability, exploring, recommending, and establishing tools and processes to support data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure full, timely, and accurate visibility of demand on IT resources
  • Develop demand vs capacity and scheduling data and reporting
  • Monitor and report on supply vs demand for all IT resources
  • Drive and support effective resource planning and prioritization
  • Develop and implement PMO tooling strategy
  • Produce wider IT Portfolio reporting as part of the Portfolio and Vendor Management Office
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years in a PMO role
  • Experience working at Portfolio/Enterprise level
  • Experience running, supporting, and establishing demand and resource management processes
  • Experience developing and embedding processes – working and consulting with a range of stakeholder groups
  • Working with senior managers (Heads of Function levels)
  • Experience producing PMO reporting/feeling into Portfolio reporting
  • Demonstrable experience of using project, programme, and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PlanView or other)
  • Proven track record of reporting and planning across different project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFe)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrable data analysis skills
  • Established data flows and datasets for reporting
