Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established Primary school in Truro. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support students in their academic and personal development, including providing one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
  • Help with classroom management and behavior strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to foster a sense of community and teamwork
Requirements:
  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
