About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Priory Group. As a Bank Healthcare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to receive optimal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor the well-being of patients, ensuring that any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff or the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain good professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors, responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
- Offer services on an as-and-when-required basis, working flexible shifts to support the needs of the team.
Requirements
- Educated to a minimum of NVQ 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
- Understands the need for strict confidentiality.
- Basic IT literacy.
