Senior Care Home Director

Ventry Care Homes is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Care Home Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our residential care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and that our services meet the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the care home, including staff supervision, resident care, and facility maintenance.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Collaborating with our QA team to ensure the quality of our services and the safety of our residents.
- Working closely with our Human Resource Management team to recruit, train, and develop our staff.
- Managing medication processes, including the administration, recording, and return of medications.
- Reviewing and monitoring the quality of our services to drive improvement and ensure that our residents receive personalized care that is responsive to their needs.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in residential home management as a manager or deputy manager.
- Elderly and dementia experience.
- A sound knowledge of the CQC and applicable legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to operate software platforms used to manage staff, service users, and medication.
