We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our team at Acorn Training. As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners in a business and professional skills context.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver training and assessment to learners in a business and professional skills context, ensuring that they meet the required standards and achieve their learning goals.
- Develop and implement effective training and learning strategies, including resources and activities to support learners in making progress towards successful completion of their learning programme.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to learners, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to achieve their learning goals.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback, ensuring that learners are aware of their strengths and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with employers and other stakeholders to ensure that training and assessment meets the needs of the business and the learner.
- Contribute to the development of new training and assessment materials, ensuring that they are relevant and effective in meeting the needs of learners.
- Level 5 or higher in IAG subject sector specialism (essential)
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent (essential)
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent (essential)
- GCSE grade A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential)
- Full, clean driving licence and access to vehicle for travel (essential)
- Recent vocational experience or history of industry-related continuous professional development (essential)
- Experience of dealing with employers in a professional capacity (essential)
- Experience working with e-Portfolios (essential)
- Meeting targets for timely achievement (essential)
- Working successfully as part of a team (essential)
- Level 4 IQA qualification (desirable)
- Level 5 Certificate in Education and Training (CET) or equivalent (desirable)
- IOSH Health and Safety at Work qualification (desirable)
- First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
