Personal Tax Senior Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Senior to join our client's growing accountancy practice in Newbury. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing self-assessment returns, ensuring completeness and accuracy of client information, and making enquiries as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare self-assessment returns from client documentation
  • Review and check work of junior staff
  • Manage online filing with HM Revenue & Customs
  • Maintain and control client tax payments within the IRIS computer system
  • Monitor Tax Return preparation progress and liaise with managers and directors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in personal tax for an accountancy practice
