Job Role:

Field Service Engineer (Commercial Microwave Engineer)

Location: Manchester

Basic Salary: £32,000 starting salary, rising to £36,000 following probation + benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Technician to develop a career with a specialist, niche company that will invest in your training and future development to ensure that you and the company stay at the forefront of their industry.

The successful applicant will be home-based and will partly be responsible for managing their own time and workloads to ensure the best service is provided. The day-to-day allocation of work will ensure a varied working experience; coffee chains, QSRs, and the pub/restaurant part of the hospitality industry will make up the bulk of your daily site locations. All work is sent to you on your tablet/smartphone the evening before and will be used to capture all on-site details when attended.

Training is given both on-site and at our client's dedicated training facility in Northamptonshire.

  7. No requirement for Gas certifications

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is technically minded and has electrical qualifications, i.e. 18th edition.

Manufacturer training and/or experience on the likes of Beko, Electrolux, Bosch, Whirlpool, LG, Miele, Hoover Candy, Glen Dimplex, Hotpoint, or Indesit are of interest. Refrigeration knowledge, whether it be 1st or 2nd line refrigeration/gas skills including FGAS or City and Guilds Refrigeration, are desired but not essential. Valid domestic gas qualifications, i.e.

A full UK driving license is required.
