Health and Wellbeing Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Advocate to join our team at Hartlepool Borough Council. The salary range for this position is £30,000 - £38,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based practice to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social services, and community groups to deliver comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local and national issues affecting public health.


Requirements:
  • Hold or be working towards a specialist community public health nurse (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting.
  • Commit to delivering high-quality care and maintaining current knowledge of public health issues.
  • Be passionate about improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
