As a key member of the Kepak Group team, the Intakes Storehouse Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy Merthyr Tydfil warehouse.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 4 on / 4 off nights, with an hourly rate of £11.

Job Description:

  1. Ensure stock is rotated within department, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
  2. Unload/load product from wagons, book in stock using the site system, and maintain health and safety awareness.
  3. Pick and scan products to orders, ensuring correct products are picked and quantities dispatched.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A standard level of education is required, with numeracy being essential for this role.
  • Previous warehouse experience is necessary, with PPT desirable but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, be reliable and consistent, methodical and proactive in their approach, and possess a clear understanding of English written and spoken.

  • This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills.
