We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in South Littleton, WR11.

Job Overview

This is a full-time opportunity for a Domestic Electrician to install, maintain, service, and repair electrical installations, circuits, and wiring systems in domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th IEE wiring regulations as amended from time to time.
  • Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the Regulations.
  • Replace circuits and consumer units including full rewiring of properties.
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation.
  • Straightforward adherence to Company Health and Safety and operational policies.
  • Compliance with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
  • Delivery of electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and void properties.
  • To undertake out of hours callout duties as per rota requirements.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Domestic Electrician who possesses:

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • A current full UK driving license.
  • Able to accurately measure and scope works.
  • Good knowledge of current industry practice.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to test/fault find/install on domestic properties.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Able to follow security and safety processes.
  • The ability to pass a DBS check.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Time Management.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Knowledge of personal health and safety, method statements, and risk assessments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • C&G (City & Guilds) 2391 Inspection and Test or equivalent C&G 2394 & 5.
  • C&G 2382 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
  • C&G Installation Certificate 2360/2351 or equivalent with Part 2 or NVQ.
  • C&G 2393 Desirable Part P Qualification.
  • Asbestos Awareness Training.
  • C&G 2377 PAT Testing Course.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is £11.44 - £25.00 per annum dependant on experience (weekly pay). This is a full-time, temp to perm contract.

Location:

The location for this role is South Littleton, WR11.
