Job Summary:

As an EI Technician at British Sugar PLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting process operations, projects, and maintenance activities across our site. You will work closely with the site Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the development and maintenance of hardware and software associated with the Honeywell DCS platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and perform practical fault finding on plant and control systems
  • Install new plant or modifications as required
  • Carry out planned and proactive maintenance activities as needed by the DCS system
  • Report all engineering activities in the appropriate format

Requirements:
  • Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and associated PLC interfaces
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
