You will work with a diverse client base, including SMEs and OMBs from various sectors, involving regular client liaison and advisory work as you progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Drafting corporation tax computations
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns and bookkeeping
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Client meetings and advisory work (e.g., tax planning)
  • Advising clients on accountancy software
  • Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

  • MAAT or ACA/ACCA PQ/Qualified
  • Practice experience is essential
  • Accounts prep experience under FRS105 & FRS102
  • Good working knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks (ideally)
