Job Description:

As Centre Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the future of students at our client. The ideal candidate will ensure a responsive and engaging curriculum provision that provides progression routes to further study and employment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Curriculum Development:
    • Maintain and develop innovative and challenging curricula using up-to-date course design strategies.
    • Produce high-quality schemes of work across the curriculum area, monitoring their delivery and supervising assessment strategies.
    • Oversee learner progress tracking and reporting.
  • Staff Management:
    • Undertake strong line management, including performance management, individual and team development, and staff recruitment and retention.
  • Budget Management:
    • Define and deliver departmental budgets, allocating resources to support academic programs.
  • Student Support and Experience:
    • Oversee student admission and progression within the department, addressing performance and conduct issues.
  • External Engagement:
    • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO ALIGN ACADEMIC PROGRAMS WITH WORKFORCE NEEDS AND LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
Requirements:
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK
  • Proof of Identity
  • Minimum 2 professional referees covering 5 years
  • Health Declaration for any health conditions or disabilities
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
