About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners in Key Stage 2. Your enthusiasm and passion for education will make a significant difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Adapt to different school settings and teams, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to each assignment.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere within the classroom.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a KS2 setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification is desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across various primary schools.
  • A proactive approach to building your career and enhancing your teaching skills.
