Job Overview:

As a Family Safeguarding Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to parents and carers, working closely with the wider social care system. Your focus will be on engaging with parents to address their mental health and well-being, while developing bespoke interventions tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers in 1-2-1 and group settings
  • Work with adults with complex needs, focusing on mental health and well-being, and engagement with the social care system
  • Provide clinical provision, including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team
  • Identify and develop effective mental health/psychological interventions for individuals, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for experienced professionals with a relevant qualification in delivering therapeutic interventions, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy. A strong understanding of the specialist mental health services required for families in Walsall is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £30-£40 per hour, with a 37-hour working week. As a hybrid role, you will work remotely and face-to-face with clients. We offer a competitive benefits package, including driving opportunities.
