Catering Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Unsted Park School. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and healthy dining experience for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and cook fresh meals for pupils and staff, considering their specific dietary requirements and preferences
- Collaborate with special education staff to develop interesting and varied menus that accommodate individual dietary restrictions and sensory needs
- Ensure that all meals are prepared and served in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices
- Maintain stock levels and accurate records in accordance with health & safety policies
- Foster a positive dining experience for pupils by creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere during mealtimes
We are looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, as well as previous experience preparing and cooking meals gained within a professional kitchen environment. You should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
