Job Title: Stockroom Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to join our team at Hyde London City.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As a Stockroom Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel is stocked up and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with all hotel departments to manage incoming goods efficiently, coordinating deliveries with kitchen and service teams.
  • Verify that all deliveries match purchase orders and meet hotel standards, checking for damages and organizing stock for distribution to different departments, refusing acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries received and sent, including food temperature logs for items like meat, fish, and dairy.
  • Ensure the loading bay remains clean, safe, and secure, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines in all food-related areas.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to address any issues related to deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
