Salary

The salary for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role is estimated to be £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This position is part of our Eastern & Midlands Construction team, based in Waterbeach, Cambridge. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work within the Commercial team, supporting them on a wide range of projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Commercial Input: Providing financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team to ensure business targets and KPIs are exceeded.
• Cost/Value Reports: Preparing monthly cost/value reports for areas, reviewing results, and considering trends with other contract team members.
• Commercial Reporting: Producing commercial reports, reviewing results, and considering trends with other contract team members.
• Physical Measurement: Conducting physical measurements of works and agreeing on same with clients and subcontractors.
• Certification and Payment: Agreeing certification and payment of subcontractor accounts, monitoring against forecasts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Full UK Driver's Licence.
• An Honours Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Confident IT skills, proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
