Overview of the Orthopaedic Team Leader Role:

Our client is looking for an Orthopaedic Team Leader to oversee a small but friendly and supportive team, with the guidance of a Theatre Manager and other Team Leads. You will continuously support the Theatre Manager to help lead, counsel and appraise staff to constantly ensure any development needs are identified and met. You will have the opportunity to develop and progress as they actively encourage passionate employees, with fully funded courses. (Opportunity to complete SFA course, if not already held)

Key Responsibilities & Ideal Qualifications as an Orthopaedic Team Leader:

  • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
  • Experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision
  • Previous leadership experience would be an advantage, however we offer award-winning training and CPD
  • HCPC or NMC registration
  • At least 2 years ortho scrub experience
  • You must be passionate and driven and be able to demonstrate your dynamic thinking
  • Completed SFA training would be an advantage
