About the Role

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled EHCP Assessment Officer to join our EHCP Casework Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire Education, Health and Care Needs assessment process across all ages 0-25.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of an experienced Senior Officer to ensure the Local Authority meets its statutory deadlines in relation to the assessment process.
  • Act as the first point of contact for children/young people and their families, working closely with them throughout the assessment process.
  • Ensure that Children and Young People and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless assessment process.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a degree-level education or equivalent experience. You will have a proven track record of working in a customer-facing environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have a high level of problem-solving skills and be able to work in a pressurized environment.
