We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our Spa maintenance team at Exclusive Hotels and Venues. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and upkeep of our Spa facilities.

Role Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Health and Safety and statutory requirements are met in a timely manner, with accurate records kept and updated accordingly.
  • Service and maintain plant and controls within the Spa to ensure they are in full working condition.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all Spa plant rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain public areas within the Spa to the highest standard, meeting and exceeding customer needs.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members within the department.
  • Support the department with projects and tasks as required.
  • Build strong relationships with external contractors to ensure smooth servicing and maintenance of plant.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Hotel/Spa maintenance team.
  • Recognised qualification in Pool Plant Operator certificate.
  • PWTAG qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Able to work productively in an ever-changing environment.
  • Flexible, with call-out cover required.
