About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with autism.

Lifeways, a leading specialist support services provider, is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their local communities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and able to communicate effectively with individuals who have varying communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to individuals with autism, promoting independence and confidence
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cooking and personal care
  • Encouraging participation in activities and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to management

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology)
  • Experience working with adults with autism or similar learning disabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
