Chief Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Cirrus Selection Limited. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of complex technical products, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems and products, ensuring compliance with requirements and regulations.
- Lead mechanical design work packages and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct robust design activities, including DFMEA, DFA, and DFM, to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and design tools, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in mechanical design and development, with a strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with partners across the business.
- UK Security Clearance required for this role, with the ability to obtain clearance as a UK Citizen or UK Dual Citizen.
