Job Title: Approved Mental Health Professional

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Approved Mental Health Professional to join our dedicated team in the South East. As part of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating assessments and demonstrating the principles of the Mental Health Act. You will need to ensure that individuals are appropriately interviewed and conveyed to hospital in a humane and dignified manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide the Council's statutory emergency duty response outside of office hours, weekends, and bank holidays in difficult and complex situations.
* Respond to adults in need of mental health assessment, safeguarding, and social care emergency intervention.
* Manage safeguarding risk effectively, working within a multiagency environment to provide a professional social work service.
* Work in a holistic and person-centred way, ensuring customers and families remain central to the processes they are part of.

Requirements:

* Experience in a similar role or related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
