Communications (PR) Specialist, International Stores Communications

Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized and creative communications professional to join the International Stores Comms team (supporting across the EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions). The individual will report into the Shopping Events, Planning and Insights comms lead and support the strategic planning and global coordination of high-priority moments, with a focus on business-critical Stores announcements, such as Amazon's biggest shopping events, as well as top-tier partner team initiatives that align with team priorities.

This individual will also represent the International Stores comms team in global working groups - across measurement, internal communications, and executive communications - defining best practice and guiding local teams to amplify our work effectively internally and externally year-round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating global insight-led strategies, briefs and plans for key Amazon Stores programs
  • Working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders - including internal cross-comms partners, cross channel marketing team and business teams
  • Working closely with partner and business teams to streamline processes, identify opportunities, and implement changes to business mechanisms to improve output for comms teams
  • Supporting Central Stores Programs colleagues on delivery of flagship and ad hoc priority programs, as required
  • Utilizing existing mechanisms and tools to track, measure, and report on results - evolving processes to increase efficiencies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in professional communications or public relations
  • Project management experience, ideally of working across multiple countries and managing multiple stakeholders, delivering coordinated campaigns

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of influencer relations and social media output and measurement
